This is not a writer's blog, per se, even though I obviously am a writer, and I will promote my writing here on occasion. Yes, this space is a vehicle for announcing new book releases and other business items of that nature, but I want to keep it loose, so...
There will be posts about my personal writing activities, other writers, and the publishing business in general, but there will also be posts about my passions, the crazy things my family, friends and cats have done, informal movie reviews, music loves, and more.
Posts will vary by day, topic and length, depending on my mood or current interests. Nothing is set in stone. At this time, I do not intend to set a particular blogging schedule. The minute I do that, I'll break it, so it's just safer this way.
I hope you will come back often to see what's new. I look forward to getting to know you! In the meantime, have a lovely, magical day, surrounded by those you love.
*Update, January 2014: I'm eating my words and trying to keep to a more regular blogging schedule--as of now, they're going up on Mondays, but that's still subject to change.
Also, in case anyone is wondering, I LOVE comments on the blog! So don't be shy. I don't have many yet, but I'm hoping people will start chiming in if the spirit moves them. But I do go back and turn the comment feature off after a post has been live for about ten days, just to discourage spam and trolls, since they seem to be rampant these days. (Luckily no trouble here so far, but I'm being proactive.) If there's an older post you'd like to discuss, it's totally fine to reference it in the newer post's comments. No worries!
